Seashore Itinerary

Exploring Castro Marina means being enchanted by its spectacular cliffs, which stand proudly, creating unforgettable panoramic views. The rocky spurs jutting out into the sea are like natural guardians of this coastal treasure, silent witnesses to the region's thousand-year history.

Each of Castro Marina's seashores offers a unique experience, a different perspective, a different emotion: from the small secluded coves, perfect for enjoying some privacy and relaxation in the sun, to the larger areas, ideal for a wild day out with friends.

Lapped by a clean sea with crystal-clear blue waters, the beaches of Castro Marina are not, however, sandy. In fact, the coast is indented but there are plenty of opportunities to lie in the sun on the rocks and swim. 
The colours of nature, here, are intense and vibrant: the green of the Mediterranean scrub, the white of the limestone rocks, the blue of the sea merging with the sky.

Zinzulusa

Not far from the famous cave with the same name, the "Zinzulusa" descent to the sea is a little piece of paradise. Its calm, transparent waters make this the perfect place for a relaxing day at the beach.

Muraglione

Continuing along the coast, we encounter the "Muraglione", another splendid access point to the sea. Here, a concrete platform with steps and stairs has been built to facilitate the descent to the sea, passing between the rocks.

Camerini

Starting from the port of Castro, one of the most comfortable descents to the sea is the one called "I Camerini". Ideal for families with children thanks to the shallow water, here the little ones can play in peace.

La Sorgente

"La Sorgente" descent is characterised by its unspoilt charm and natural beauty. Thanks to the cold water springs that flow into the sea, diving will be a regenerating experience.

Punta Correnti

The "Punta Correnti" area is famous for its hidden coves, which can be reached via a stairway dressed in colours and poetry. This area is particularly popular with travellers seeking a quiet corner where they can enjoy the sea in all its beauty.

Argentiera

With its rocky inlet and clear waters, "Argentiera" is another access point to the sea worth being discovered. Here, the sea opens up into a small bay, creating an ideal environment to relax and enjoy the day.

Fiumi

The coves at "Fiumi" offer a more intimate bathing experience, perfect for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The access points to the sea in this area are characterised by small coves hidden among the rocks.

Villa Elena

The access to the sea at "Villa Elena" offers a breathtaking view of the sea. The contrast between the rocks of the cliff and the deep blue of the sea creates a picturesque scenery that enchants all visitors.
